Traveling test engineer

To augment the staff dedicated to testing our systems, we are looking for a Travelling test engineer
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Commissioning machines on customers' premises
- Training customers on fundamental points relating to the maintenance and operation of our systems

The candidate must have:

- Technical, preferably electrical/electro-technical, training
- Experience in a similar position, preferably in companies that manufacture industrial equipment and machinery. We welcome applications from people with experience of assembly who want to dedicate their time to testing
- Willingness to travel (approximately 60% of the time for approximately 5-6 weeks at a time, depending on the complexity of the system)
- The ability to read wiring diagrams as well as hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams
- Experience of signal testing, measuring and electrical circuits
- Good knowledge of English, which will also be used for technical training on customers' premises
- Problem solving, customer orientation, sense of initiative
